Following Michael's competition successes he was asked to share his skills with others from different parts of the World.
One of his first assignments was to train three competition workers from Florida leading up to a world qualifying event in Miami. Michael's students gained first, second and fourth place which secured their positions for the World Championships in Washington D.C. August 1996.
Far East Tour
Michael was then asked to do a tour around the Far East, visiting Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpa and Hong Kong. The purpose was to update men's & ladies cutting & styling techniques on added hair,
(wigs, toupees and hair extensions).
This travelling has given him the opportunity to meet with manufacturers of hairdressing tools and products. In Miami Florida he met wit Ed. Geib manufacturing Buttercut Shears. Michael has worked very closely with Ed. designing new tools and distributing them through the U.K.
The prestigious Goldwell Academy is a regular venue where Michael demonstrates.
You may also see him at your local college.
Michael believes that to improve the standard of hairdressing we must go to our younger students and more importantly our teachers.
