At these beautiful places we live as they would have done during that specific period. We live in authentic fifteen century tents full of medieval artifacts. Our costumes are authentic and we cook and eat using only items that were known to be available at that time.

The highlight of events like these are to re-enact battles including archery and combat. Sometimes there can be as many at two thousand people on the battle field and as all the weapons used are real, the atmosphere and noise is awesome.

We often visit other groups for meetings to share ideas on costumes and swop information on where to obtain items such as longbows, swords or chain mail etc. Other times we simply invite each-other for Medieval Banquets. The original banquets could last up to eight hours with as many as seventeen courses being served. Ours tend to be more refined with 'only' eight courses and lots of wine, ale and cider.
